Hello, My name is Daniel Jacintho owner and fabricator at Hanapa'a Welding Company located on the island of Maui, Hawaii. I started this company in 2015 right out of high school, knowing I needed to learn a lot before I could call myself a welder. I bought an old Dodge magnum 2500 and threw a brand new Miller Trailblazer on the back as well as working for multiple companies as a welder over the years. My company started out slowly while I enrolled in Montana Technological University. In 2019 I graduated with B.S. degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Welding Engineering. I took on welding jobs every summer, continuing my growth for knowledge, all the while noticing Move Bumpers. This was back when there was only one bumper option, the classic style. I was never in a place to order a bumper for my trucks, always being in class or working on other projects, but I was able to build a couple of bumpers for others. After graduating, I decided to join the graduate program at Montana Tech. Since 2019 I have been working on some improvements with stainless steels in the additive manufacturing industry. My project will be complete in May and I am headed back to Maui will the sole job of growing my welding company as soon as I get off the plane. I am currently helping a friend with his first Move bumper and I love the kit just like I knew I would from seven years ago. I am anxious to hear from you and would love to see every one of these Tacoma's that people are so fond of with a Move bumper, headache rack, or steps on it!
